Blogs and SEO

Short blogs. Long blogs. Highly technical blogs that explain a complex feature in plain English. From top-of-the-funnel content that drives awareness to niche, bottom-of-the-funnel articles that solve specific problems for users, I enjoy crafting content that informs, engages, and helps businesses thrive.

Most of the articles here come from my work at SysCloud, a B2B SaaS company, and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, a healthcare and professional membership organisation that also provides medical education for clinicians.

At SysCloud, every piece was optimised for SEO: most landed in the top 3 Google search results, and the Exchange Online retention guide has held #2 on Google, below Microsoft's own documentation for four years.

At RCPSG, the focus shifted to E-E-A-T, structured AIO content for medical search, and tracking how generative AI (ChatGPT, Perplexity) is reshaping discovery for credible content.
